Inka Romani combines her talents as both dancer and communicator to create projects in the performing arts field.

Based in Valencia, Spain, she works as a freelancer on projects focused on the body and its movement.

She has worked at different venues across Europe, like Sadler’s Wells Theatre (London), Centre de Developpement Choregraphique de Toulouse (Toulouse), and La Mutant (Valencia). Additionally, she has worked for artists and companies like choreographers Marquez&Zangs (UK), Metaspeech (UK), Germana Civera (France), Core Dance Performance Company (USA), among others.

After graduating in contemporary dance at the Conservatory of Valencia, she was awarded a scholarship at Centre National de Développement Chorégraphique de Toulouse - Midi Pyrénées (Toulouse National Center for Choreographic Development - Midi Pyrénées). She then graduated as a communicator from the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (International University of La Rioja) and is currently finishing a master’s degree in artistic creation at the fine arts faculty in Valencia.

Her dance practices combine somatic techniques with different dance styles going from flamenco to contemporary, breaking, and voguing. She co-founded Club Mutante, an annual event for dancers from different styles to get together, share, and compete.
